“There is a race that I must run, there are victories to be won…..” are the lyrics of a song sung in many Churches in Southern Africa. Nothing could be further from a lie than that. There is no one who just lives for no reason. Everyone born of a woman has a specific purpose of existence. That automatically shuts out the assertion that says I have nothing to live for anymore.

Hold On: It's Not Yet Too Late

There are times in life when giving up seems like the best thing to do. It may be by reason of a promise long overdue, a situation that just looks to become only worse or something that common sense knows and says is impossible. There is always need however to stand up as a child of God and fight your way out because at the end of the tunnel there is a light, there is sunshine out of every sea and a valley after every mountain.

Contending For The Faith

 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints. Jude 1v3

The Christian walk is not always an easy walk in the park. It is a journey full of all kinds of traps, tests, trials and temptations inasmuch as all the good things are also abundant in the life of any believer. It is to be noted that if you are a believer you are pleasing God on one side and displeasing the devil on the other side. The battle between the two of them is a fight for control of your life. Satan wants to control you as much as God wants to control you, so don’t expect such a battle to be all rosy for you or anyone.

Having A Personal Relationship With God

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty. 2 Corinthians 6 v 18

God does not enjoy having limited access to you. What God wants is to have communion with Him every time, on a line that is never busy or interrupted. Imagine your relationship with your biological father; you are close to him and he cares for you: to clothe you, to feed you and to get you a good education and enjoy life at the same time. The same is true, or even better, where God is concerned.

Who Is Greatest In The Kingdom?
